Engine Off, Instant Karma?

[ QUOTE ]
I take a ferry to and from the island ive been working on lately, every day is bookended with a relaxing 40 min. boat ride where i get to take in the sights of the Atlantic Ocean.

That sounds like a perfect way to end a day of treework.

One time I used to get the train home from work, even that is better than sitting in a car in a traffic jam. I find walking a great way to wind down.

I also used to ride a motorbike to and from work this just made more fired up. Not good on the way home. But it did stop me eating junk food in the car.

I wish I could figure out how to surf a whole lot more, and work a whole lot less, but still have the same amount of money. Does anybody else have this problem?

Charge more for your services.

I've only tried surfing once in my life, nearly drowned within two minutes.

I thought tree work was hard going, but trying to stay alive in 8 ft waves was not funny. Every time I got back to the surface I got smacked down again.

Kind of put me off forever.

After a ten hour day climbing

Karma you mention you paganistic juvenile. Wash your mouth out with soap.

I have sat silent and observed you gallivanting around this forum as if you were crowned God of trees with your criticisms of due and diligent hard working folk.

I also have received information that you are being referred to as Hollow man, preaching yet little evidence of anything substantial from the Grover Grotto.

One individual called your condition Grovertitis, well may that individual be blessed for such a term of precise acknowledgment of the condition you suffer.

Perhaps Riggs may offer you some advice and you shall be home 2 hours sooner.

Fast trains and heaven, shame on you, even considering the Lord be obliged to your condition. Tick tock goes the clock in your head, its all too fast, too much, too Grovertitis!

Seek professional help, PM me for a minister in your area and you will soon realise the locomotive the Lord has supplied runs at his pace. Karma, punish yourself (and others) less, PM me for help before your soul is lost.

God Bless.

ArborAddict,

All I was trying to say was that if you work hard during the day, surely you are destined to be rewarded at some stage later on, thats what its about - balance. Not paganism.

When I switch the engine off I take a deep breath, close my eyes and exhale, thats the instant karma I'm talking about.

Maybe if I did take Rigg's one handed(smack em down) approach I would be home quicker, but I want to go home at the end of the day in one piece.

Instant Karma for me would be the incessant yapping known as 'groveritis'* to cease.

* Groveritis is the condition suffered by those who have to endure the endless pontificating of an ignorant twerp, giving out endless spiel and sermon on a subject said twerp knows very little about.

Take it somewhere else...and let this be the end of this infighting, in this thread, and these forums, out of respect for the rest of us...and Tom and Mark.

I agree.

Lighten up Mr ED. At least you could have smiled about Grover's remark. What's the point in busting on one and another. I am not driving a Skoda and I am not offended either.

Hey all a newbie here, I have been a lurker here for a while and finally decided to sign on. As far a a Zen moment or a calm time I had one recently. It was not the average day at work large take down and lots of traffic problems. Job done and on the way home it starts snowing hard and I mean hard. So as I know that I will be called to work soon to Plow the roads I decide to take a quick spin on the Snowmobile. Lots of bumps an starting to sweat, shut the sled off to check for voicemail and once done with that it is just so quiet that it makes me just sit back and love what I do and how I do it. True moments like that don't come often, maybe they do but where just not paying that much attention. Be safe and be respectfull of each other. It is a small circle. Jsin
