Im thinking of selling this chipper and buying a larger one. It has an 86 horse perkins diesel with 3500 hours on it. I bought it for 5K last year and have upgraded several things including all new oil senders, belts, new oil pressure gage, new john deer ignition, tires, murphy switch, and one new hydraulic motor. It needs to be painted but is in overall good condition. My uncle who is a diesel mechanic has had the engine apart and was surprised at how clean she was. Together we both worked on these improvements. The pictures show the shoot without the flap which I will be replacing with a new one this week. The tachometer also does not function and the throttle minder could probably be replaced as it tends to slow down after hours of use. It would be a great first chipper if your just getting in the business or do alot of side work. Its great for pruning days but not so great for big crane jobs.
