dont leave fuel unattended

I did

wont do it again....

this afternoon i mowed my lawn.

needed to refill my 6Liter fast and spill free canister.

Did it with funnel from a 20Liter can into my 6 liter canister.

Filled my mower and done the work.

Was inside for about 5 minutes cooking meal for my kids (1½ year daughter and almost 3 year old son)

I noticed a 'gassmell'

looked out and saw my boy fuelling up his electrical trike with that funnel and the 20 liter can.

He spilled about 2 liters i quess.

so i had to dig some soil into an old cement barrel to get to the chemical depot this week.

It freakin scared me seeing him doing this.

For some reason i was more angry at me then on my son.

Hes to smart, i certainly need some extra killswitches on my machinery. (and a lockable wrench box)

A client of mine had his son help him out by refueling his pickup. the second time that junior topped off with the garden [water] hose he got a locking gas cap :)

It's a good thing he didn't get on his electric trike and ride. I likely would have caught fire.
