CT tree hitch?

While on a trip down the you tube rabbit hole I found a vid for a CT Tree Hitch. New to me. Have I missed this in the endless redirect threads?

i prefer(ed) similar only pass thru as to Girth, then around spread to each side and around outside to then clip in more of the 3arc positive try to highlight. Still mechanical stopper against run but i think less need for it, less harsh bend to rope, more frictions and less side force on krab..
