Creepy loopie

I've got a loopie sling that I love to use in the crown but it creeps so I have to fold the tail back and cow or timber hitch the slack. This can some times take the handiness out of it.
Anyone else have this problem or a solution?

Did you splice it yourself? A whoopie shouldn't have any issue holding a load. What material is the sling made from, what is it's diameter, and what is the bury length?

I was wondering about the bury length, don't know it off hand but it's 1/2" tenex tec. I should likely look at another 1/4 fid bury I think it had the minimum if I recall

No way. Something else. I did a ⅜" whoopie with a ¾"-1" bury and it holds a few thousand pounds.

There's something else going on here

What's your 3/8" whoopie made out of?
I have a guy that wants one but I thought anything smaller than 1/2" was kinda low for swl mind you that was tenex numbers

Sorry guys it's buried about 13". I've been wrapping the tail to use up the slack and that locks it in place but under moderate weight it still slides if the tail just dangles
