Man, be VERY careful which credit card processing company you use. I made a serious mistake thinking that the one offered through SAM's Club would be an honest outfit and fairly competitive. FIRST DATA is a serious rip off. They have hidden fees which make the overall costs outrageous, and they fine print you with an equipment lease agreement which is a FULL YEAR longer than your processing agreement, with no way out except full pay off!
I wish someone would have told me "DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FIRST DATA!!!".
If you are even thinking of using them, do a search with their name plus RIP OFF and read what you find. I think I will be going with squareup.com . 2.75% and NO OTHER FEES
 
Square all the way...straight to the bank. I have intuit also. It's okay for small payments so I can give someone a card for gas or a chain with out giving them access to the business account.
 
I've had serious issues with first data, years ago, though wells fargo. If you see their name run screaming in the other direction.
 
Just started using square. Nice and simple. Like it a lot. One negative is I have to take my phone out of its otter box to fully insert the card swiper.

Anyone find a way around this?
 
I've thought about that. I haven't used mine yet. I bet you could get a short extension audio cord. Just look at how many contacts the square has on its plug, make sure the cord has the same. Likely 3 or 4.
