I know you guys are from back east and all. Just wanted to say around here Mexican-americans hold positions in every part of our work force. Including doctors, lawyers, police officers, business owners, hairdressers, landscapers, on and on and on.

The golf course (employer) and the supervisor are responsible in the eyes of OSHA. That goes for the US and Canada. Fines who be levied at both in the event of an accident.

You should really learn some spanish and sit back and listen to what they really say about us. I listen to them all the time at stores and just giggle, trust me they aint as stupid as most americans belive them to be.

shame none of them can read or even speak english. They can count though, sign checks, and match the bank symbol to cash it.

I happen to live in the most emigrated-to state in the Northeast, at least lately. We have a HUGE Latino population in RI. Certainly not as much as AZ, but the times, they are a' changin'. We are still the Great American Melting Pot! I hope we can find a way to welcome good people and hard workers to this country! This thread has been hijacked! SORRY!!!!

My Spanish is pretty strong, Holly. I taught myself btw.

Actually Hispanics are American born Latinos of Mexican decent.Mexican is someone born and raised in mexico,even if the become legal american citizens they usually still refer to themselves as Mexican.Those guys could be honduran,Guatamalen,El Salvadorian or from about 20 other countries.They are actually are offended some when you call the non mexicans- mexican.I agree some of them are hard workers but I want hire anyone who is not a resident or on a visa.I live In a primarly Mexican Hood and their really pretty good neighbors but heck Ive lived here my whole life.Tom all races have racist, that Ive encountered,I was raised in pretty tough areas its universal-usually whoever has the majority at a particular time or place.Doesnt make it right by know means and being PC doesnt change the heart just makes the outside look good.

Thats nice Tom, mines real strong. About 8 years of on the job learning. 3 of my freinds Jesus, Orson, and Marcus taught me. Since they are leagle and speak english, they helped me learn to speak and talk with the other illegal ones.
put it in english case you need the help city boy.
 
ok. guys, that's enough. One of the guys who I talk to occasionally is from Mechoacan. They are almost certainly NOT illegals as most business around here use E-verify or some other means for verification. Most reputable business around here don't hire illegals. After all, Whatcha gonna do when sherriff Joe comes for you.
 
I think lately, the image of the Mexican is that they steal cars, bicycles, candy, and about ten gallons of gas.

While the Whites, they stole four generation's worth of trillions of dollars and all the lands outside of Europe, including Mexico.

Think I'll trust them first and foremost at this juncture.
