Cover of Tree Care Industry Magazine

My feet were not ever on the window.
The siding was wood not aluminum or vinyl
There was not a homeowner the house was a spec home still under construction

The saw is a husky 338

I was tied into the tree in the photo near the corner of the house with my climb line and another tree about 50 feet away with a 5/8 rigging line.

There is a photo of the tree when we showed up to the job.

More photos to follow.

Here is the only photo I have that shows how the brush was being rigged. All of the brush had to be lifted from the house into the tree that I was tied into. Then drifted to the tree on the right so that it would clear the house and could be lowered into the yard.

That's what a cover photo should be like. Definitely an attention getter.

Keep sneaking into RWP and you're gonna make the cover of the local metro pages.

I've been here and done that. That's one of the few pictures that represents a more realistic situation we encounter in the midwest. I had an instant and comfortable reaction to this photograph since I have experienced this position. Thanks for bringing this to the forum. I like relating to others in my field.

You guys are blowing up the boss' ego here. That means he is going to have to work us other guys harder so he can go off and be famous. Just kidding. It's good working with him and learning new approaches to different situations.

oh, cool, so you were put on the cover of tcia magazine?

No, no, no. I've never been on the cover of anything. Sorry about that misunderstanding. I was refering to the plant size, the rigging, and the work position. I can appreciate when others are handling this situation. Gotta admire them for it.

yeah, I know. That's what I figured. No misunderstanding.

You just trying to put yourself in the same category.

Perhaps the purpose of the pictures on the covers of these magazines is to create a common relationship amongst the readers. Those pictures aren't there to show a person in a separate category than others.

I really liked that cover shot. I can relate to it and am not afraid to say so.
