A bunch of scientists wrote to, and/or testified before congress that the GOF research that was being conducted in the USA, in particular UNC and Ft Bragg, was dangerous as there had been breaches in lab safety. As a result the Obama administration put a moritorium on GOF research in the USA, which stopped upwards of 20 major research projects in their tracks.
Fauci at the NIH and Collins, used Peter Dazak at Eco Health Alliance to illegally backdoor fund continued GOF research at the Wuhan INstitute of Virology, which is where Covid originated. The chinese miltiary took over the lab as soon as the outbreak happened, and pulled down the online database about the new viruses they had been working on. Bill Gates put on event 201 in which the groundwork was set to control the narrative through socila media censorship just before the outbreak became publicized, but likely after it had been recognozed by the Chinese, who had alerted Gates and his ilk at the WHO etc.
Fauci's emails have been widely published, where several of his top scientists believed that the genetics of the virus looked like it was man-made. But the conpirators, lead by Fauci came up with a much different story for the press, 4 days later, saying it was unquestionably zoonotic. That story stuck well enough to label anyone with a bit of common sense as a conspiracy theorist for seeing the obvious truth that the worst pandemic in 100 years, from a coronoavirus in bats, couldn't have come from a meat market, only blocks away from the only level 4 virology lab in China where they were doing GOF research on coronaviruses in bats.
What a black eye the scientific community and the virologists in particular would have taken if the world had know from the start that this virus that killed their friends and family and ruined their businesses and children's education etc was man-made. That would have ruined the gravy train of research money they were all sucking up. This couldn't be allowed. Eventually the truth came out, but the significance was downplayed and these evil fucks are still walking the earth as free men. You'll know the truling elites are losing control when someone actually goes to jail for these crimes against humanity.
The very term "lab leak" is a very successful move by the ruling elites to control the narrative. Calling it a lab-leak inidicated that the release was accidental. That is a pre-mature conclusion IMO, calling it man made is a better term as it leaved the possibility of a intentional bio-attack to be cosidered.
There was a pre-print paper that came out in Jan of 2020 by some Indian scientists that showed that there were 4 cleavage sites on the virus that had clearly been inserted using genetics from HIV.. The paper was quickly retracted under immense pressure from the powers that be, but the 87 year old scientist, Luc Montangier, who won the nobel prize for discovering the HIV virus, stated unequivically that this was a man made virus and the work of highly skilled virologists. He claimed that this was obvious to any knwoeldgeable virolgists, but the younger generation was concerned with having their carrers ruined for telling the truth, but he couldn't be scared off or intimidated becasue he was too close to death and already had his nobel prize. Anyone with a bit of sense could see the man was telling the truth.
