Competitors help with setup?

I remember that one . I thought for the limited help it was an exceptionally ran comp. It's a bummer not having a masters but didn't ruin the comp at least for me. Pure genius to have 3 events then everyone do the speed events together! I liked that, it became a big cheering event as well as made it even more exciting. Good on all the volunteers that day. I'll always remember it

That was a good day.

All the others being able to see your orientation to branches from in the tree could be valuable.

Eric, when I was on the committee, I was in charge of soliciting volunteers. At that time I had a list of 30-40 people. In several changings of the TCC Chair, this list was abolished to almost nothing, for no other reason than people disliking other people.
Its not hard to get the help you just gotta ask the right people for their help. There are dozens of reputable companies, large and small with a multitude of willing people. They may not meet the needs of the hierarchy though.
