Toughest stadium in football. If PSU is favored by 3, it’s really more like 10 with that crowd.

Two years in a row I think the better team may have lost.

Does ND have enough to stay in the top 4? Just looked at the rest of their schedule and it isn't exactly brutal. I would guess Clemson will get back in it.

ND beat up on a team that looked very young and inexperienced. Book will have good numbers, but he missed several WIDE open deep balls. If that isn't a threat, he'll get punished for it.

However, if they are 12-0 (they should win out...maybe the easiest path of any top 10 team), they are in. No way a non-conference champion goes in ahead of a 12-0 ND. I think they get embarrassed again if they make it to the playoffs.

I doubt the powers that be will let WVU jump ND even if they win out...

Not sure anybody in the PAC-12 will be a serious threat to go all the way this year.

Clemson has no opposition in their road. The rest of the ACC is relatively weak this year, but they'll get love for beating F$U (and maybe scUM if the Hurricanes win their division). I do think Clemson is legit...just saying they shouldn't have trouble making it.

OSU should win out. Their path is harder than ND or Clemson, but they still should do it.

Same with Bama...but their path is even harder than OSU's.

So, my guess is Alabama, OSU, Clemson, ND for an Alabama/OSU title game. Too close to call that winner right now ;)

I think the only way a non-conference champion gets it is if they are competing with a 2 loss conference champion for the spot (see last year). I think a 1 loss Power 5 conference champ probably goes ahead of a non-champion.

Tide looks to be on a different level. As usual.

But then, I thought the same thing the last time they played the Buckeyes and got beat.

(If they played today I’d bet my house on Bama).

ND and Bucks look ugly but win.

UGA on the other hand looked uga uga ugly versus LSU.

Top 4 may be set at this point but Meat Chicken looked strong against Wisconsin.

I doubt the powers that be will let WVU jump ND even if they win out... (WVU out - even if they win out...MAYBE Texas out of the Big 12 if they win out and Clemson pulls a Clemson).

Not sure anybody in the PAC-12 will be a serious threat to go all the way this year. (Confirmed)

(scUM lost to UVa - the ACC looks even weaker after this week...Clemson shouldn't be challenged for the rest of the season)

OSU should win out. Their path is harder than ND or Clemson, but they still should do it. (Yeah...like JD said, UM looks decent, maybe they'll challenge OSU?)

My last guess/sentence looks stronger this week than it did last week - only that OSU showed enough weakness that I'll pick Alabama for it all.

Subject to change. It is college football, after all!

I’m embarrassed even if the Bucks win. For the love of God, this is Purdue.

Freaking Purdue. I may be wrong, but I can’t remember losing to them since Drew Brees had braces.
