Cobra 8T

I am looking for a supplier of Cobra 8T, (I know sherrill tree). I am looking for a little better price then what they offer. Maybe a different "kit". I only need to install 1 system and I hate to have all that extra gear hanging around till I can sell another 3 systems. Any help would be great. Thanks

Won't happen. Sherril is the US distributor.

Do you know a tree service nearby from whom you could ask to buy what you need?

By the way, are you sure 4T won't suffice? Unless the supported part is huge, it should be plenty.

Thanks Roger, thats what I was affraid of. Yes the supported part are pretty big. According to specs 8T is for stems upto 30" dia at the branch union. The leads are 29 and 31, so by rights I should probably put steel in but I dont think it needs it. The client just wants a little reasurance without hurting the tree.

I remember somewhere seeing a set up where two smaller cobra systems were installed next to eachother to accomidate larger stuff. But I cant find the information on it. has anyone else seen this?

A well thought out multiple leg system is not out of the question. Just need to sketch it out, do some basic math and see what you come up with. Well worth considering in any case.

As for materials, iffn you can come up with the cobra I have bunches of extra expansion inserts and shock-absorbers I will never get around to using. Let me know if you want some and we can haggle.

Thanks Rick and Mike. I have a bunch of 2T and mini now, I never thought I would ever sell a 8T system.
Mike, if you are buying 8T and you don't need the whole kit, let me know. Im guessing 1 system 25 or 30 ft would do it. But would split the kit with you if you wanted. Thanks
