Climbing crane!

What a waste of time, material, and equipment. I loved it! Very cool. I'm sure we've all had thoughts of ways to play with our equipment.....when my last beater (500 buck Soob, for towing behind the crane) gave it up, I toyed with the idea of hoisting it up 110' high, and dropping it, but couldn't really come up with an easy way to remotely release it. Using an old sling, setting it on fire, and quickly winching up before it burned through was all I could think of. I never did it, maybe next time.

A Wyoming friend in the business has an annual party, and persistant rumors of late night bucket truck rides involving nude female participants may be a way for AllTEC to showcase their products, just a thought.

Not only that, at one point it looks like the guy reporting was standing under the thing without a hard hat on! What if that thing had fallen on him and he didn't have a hardhat to protect him!

I wonder how long it took to practice and get fluid at climbing. What a nice paycheck!

And..what creative minds in marketing to find some sort of value in putting this whole thing together. Much more entertaining that any Idle Best Dancer 'reality' show!

Absolutely nuts!

I'm more impressed with the structure. It was more vital than the operator in the excavator, IMO.
