I am pleased to invite you to the next session in the City Forests Webinar Series, “Stop Pruning Malpractice with a Prescription", taking place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 2:00–3:00 p.m. CST.
This informative webinar will examine ANSI A300–2023 pruning standards and their role in establishing clear work specifications, training, quality assurance, and regulatory guidance. Participants will learn the essential elements of a pruning specification and why precise, objective-based language is critical to consistent and defensible tree care. The session explores Best Management Practices (BMPs) and the Prescription Pruning Qualification (PPQ) as practical tools for developing measurable pruning prescriptions based on client objectives and the trees conditions of concern.
Presented by: Kristoffer Rasmussen the Florida Chapter Prescription Pruning Qualification Coordinator, CTSP, TCIA Qualified Trainer, Accreditation Auditor, ISA Urban Forest Professional, and serves on the TCI Magazine Editorial Advisory Committee.
