Took drive to the Chicago Botanic Gardens to check out their awesome display of shade tree lighting. They do an absolute phenomenal job. This is what trees and ornamentals are supposed to look like.

Ok Norm, as a holiday tree lighting aficionado... that's absolutely the most beautiful tree lighting I've ever seen. I've gotta try it now.
Do you know if they're LED or incandescent?

Birthday boy, I'm not sure. Kathy has never seen the Botanic Garden trees lit up, so we made the trip last nite, after checking the lites out at Brookfield Zoo. I just took the pics, didn't really check the lites.
I think they're the little clear bulbs like these: https://www.christmas-lights-direct.com/...en-p-14664.html
I know a couple of the CBG staff and they told me it takes 5 days for 2 workers to wrap 1 honey locust.

Those were breathtaking. How do they do it? Climb or bucket?

Both. They use a 2 person platform. One person wraps, while the other holds and feeds the lights. What they can't reach from the platform, they climb to install the rest.
