When I was traveling around New Zealand I met a guy who made knives out of anything. It was really cool. He would make them from whatever scrap he had around the yard. And this guy had some scrap. I bought this knife off him, which was made from a spring on the seat of a honda motorcycle. Not as cool as that one Tom, but cool knowing it was from something recycled.

Here's a video of Bob Kramer. Pretty sure he's done some out of chainsaw chain too. One of his knives sold for 12K at auction! Just linking the video to show how freakin' strong the damascus steel is they're making these things out of. Pretty grueling process to make it...
