CE Climb

Has anybody bought the CE climb system? Is the bag functional or just packaging? If the bag was decent the price would make more sense to me.

The 150' kit costs $339 at treestuff. The individual components you could get for roughly $280+a rope bag. You'd have a standard spliced eye not the slaice.

Truth be told I want that green hitch climber but I'm not sure it's worth it if I have to buy a rope bag. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about the system but I will say the lanyard version is built really well. It works great the few times I have used it. I have a Zillion and several Zigs so it just doesn't get much use from me.

IMO the bag is cheap Chinese crap unfortunately.
You pay for the system being certified as a whole to the European standards, which is a great step in the evolution of hitch based climbing systems somehow, but irrelevant for you I guess. Go with the single components, you can order the green HC as a spare part and the sliced rope as well.

The slaice is totally wicked, but probly not worth the whole giddy up they got going there.
