can someone tell me what this is?

I will have to post some pictures later. But can anyone tell me what tree looks almost identical to Paulownia and hollow but is heavy like oak? I was told by someone it was Catalpa. No leaves or seed pods around or on it.

Catalpa and Paulownia have alot of similar traits, but Catalpa is not heavy by any means. Hollow trunk is a common trait for Catalpa, though.

Gymnocladis is very heavy and also hollow.
