CAMP Turbochest ascender

A clever mashup of a chestbox roller and chest ascender:

It looks like the release button allows for easier descents. I'm guessing that the cam is smooth too. Otherwise it seems likely that the teeth would pick the rope.

I use the Uni as my upper/chest ascender though. I don't need to unweight the rope to descend so its much more unidirectional than using a chest ascender.

Turning the volume up only works when you don't know the language and YOU need to say something...not for listening.

not a release button, just pressing down on the cam. Looks interesting.

Not a smooth cam, has shorter straight teeth, not the downward curved fangs on Petzl cams so definitely nice to thumb the cam and down climb. Also looks much easier to get out of when you want to switch out of ascent mode. -AJ
