Bush Cabinet?

Hey, what choice didja have? Kerry? Pshaw! /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I voted for Cobb (Green Party). As Debs said, I'd rather vote for what I want and not get it, than to vote for what I don't want and get it.

Not to inject too much politics in what is a (thankfully) nonpartisan site, but I think in four years we're all going to be paying a heavy price for the choice slightly more than half of us who voted made. I hope I'm wrong.

No worries Dr.

The jobs are stressful and tiring, some were worn out. Lots happened these last 4 years. Resession, 911, war, etc...

Bush plans on doing a lot his second term, unlike most presidents.

Fresh new people to get some things done.

I'm all for Bush, if you couldn't figure that out.

Since I own a small business, I was very concerned about the possibility of Kerry winning with that corporation sueing blood sucker.

I'm relieved and excited now about the next 4 years.

Bush has helped me as a small business keep more of my money. And I dump practically all my money back into my business and employees (no wife, no kids, no life maybe...) This will get our economy going. It can't happen overnight and I believe we'll see it doing good by the end of the next 4 years. Then some liberal dork will probably get in there and ride the good times for a while and they will even get elected for the second term before what they are doing shows up.

Our nation's saftey and world involvement is more important to me and I think he's the best for that too.

Why am I campaigning, he already won......

(mark, is there a spell check on this site, my sspelling sucks, I know)

It's not unusual for cabinets to change. It seems a bit odd to have so many cards shuffled at the same time. Without all of the backstory all we can do is sidewalk engineer.

More concerning to me is the changes going on at the CIA. Why are so many career people moving out? The CIA has made some mistakes and come up short but I would rather have more of this backstory. There are a couple of career spooks that have left. I've read some of what they've said. Not too complimentary to the newly appointed head of the CIA.

Actually, I was told that there are no forums in the world with this feature. Was I lied to?

The ISA Webboard hs spell check. unfortunately, it fails to recognize common words we use, such as arborist and arboriculture (at least that used to be true). When traffic there was heavier, I frequently saw correctly spelled words come back as misspellings. Anyway, FWIW, it exists. I'm not saying you should switch to webboard to get it, though.

Now that I've stepped up to some computer hardware that's only a couple of generations ancient I decided to use the default installation of KDE under a recent Linux distribution install. The browser that's part of the K Desktop Environment is called Konqueror and is based on the rendering engine developed by the Mozilla folks. Aside from the excessive Windowsiness of it all (KDE) for my taste, the browser is really quite cool. You can enter a URL of audiocd:/ and with an audio CD in the player, it will generate a page with all kinds of ways to access the information, even contacting a free online database for track information. To test it just now to take a screenshot, I placed a very obscure pre-classical sampler CD in and tried it out.

Anyway, the point of all this initially was that this browser has spell-checking built in. Cool.

Collaborative free software rocks!

It will be interesting to see what happens with the economy this next term. Clinton inherited one that was strengthening already and he took the credit, then rode it into the ground...

Unbelievable. My sister-in-law's really cool parents from Switzerland gave me a "European Polka Hits" CD as a joke one time. It was one of those $3.99 LaserLight CDs as found near the checkouts at Target or Walmart.

Check out the attachment...
