1979 Ford F700 with HiRanger 5FI52PBI 57' Work Height aerial unit. Truck and unit in good condition. Truck was originally owned by Georgia Power and then was transferred to the University of Georgia (from whom we purchased it). Has a V8, 370 4V gas engine, 5 speed transmission w/2speed rear end, and air brakes. I have just reduced the price to $7,800. The truck is in overall good condition (it could though use a paint job). The boom has been inspected and serviced, and the truck has been inspected and serviced. The brakes/drums are as new, the fromt end(king pins, tie rod ends, drag link, etc.) is tight with no "play" or wear, and the driveline is in good condition. The truck was a southern truck its entire life and was stored indoors, so there are no rust issues whatsoever. The toolboxes are in good condition, with the exception of the rearmost boxes which have minor dents. The truck could easily be converted into a flatbed. The front winch is in good working condition (although it could use a new cable if you where going to use it often). Interior is in excellent condition and all the instrumentation (except the fuel gauge-needs a sending unit) is working properly.
