Bridge question

I'm ok with that, the stock bridge was removed less than a wk after I bought it. Just wanted to make sure that there was no huge taboo, or underlying safety no-no that I haven't heard about. Thanks Tom.

Tom and Caballos are both correct.

But I now use a left over piece of Bluemoon as mine on my Butterfly2. I got tired of the rubber shrink tubing coming off and the protective sheath underneath getting frayed up on the edges. This allowed a spot for my small Petzel swivel to get caught on and give you an unexpected jerk every now and then.

Climbing lines get pretty beat up as a bridge though. With my swivel it tends to get worn on one side so you either have to try to rotate it or just switch it out often.

That is just my 2cents and limited experience. You are probably better off just buying the replacement. One other thing about the climbing line bridge is you can customize your length. Not a big deal but just something to put out there.

Curious to see what others do about their Butterfly2 bridges!
