I wear asolos they are decent for spikes but awesome for spikeless pruning (which is 85% of what i do) most of them have gortex to help keep your feet dry.

I just bought my second pair of these. Very comfortable, composite toe, all non metallic, great soles for footlocking and limbwalking. Only drawback is not that great for spikes, but my geckos work fairly well on them. 1st pair lasted 2+ yrs.

I had a similar pair made by STC, lasted about a year and a half but eventually rotted the inside out.

wesco that i have are heavy and comfortable (after break in) eyelets have pulled out from foot locking. they lasted about a year. great for climbing in trees. all in all they cost too much and customer service sucks. after eyelets pulled out the customer service wanted to charge me for replacing eyelets and said it would take 4 weeks. Bunch of SH8T
