Bogus survey and prize giveaway

I was just spammed with a bogus? treebuzz survey and prize giveaway when trying to log onto treebuzz.
also there was a clickable link in a regular post that went to a similar site. Perhaps it is just my computer, but thought I would mention it here. GS

That is bogus...nothing we did.

You probably have malware on your PC, try malwarebytes (this one's a legit link) , the normal version is free.

Turns out it was a cookie evidently. Not a virus according to my brother.

You should still run a malwarebytes scan, cookies dont appear out of nowhere.

Yes, my brother ran a full scan and found nothing. Thanks for the advice tho.
