Re: BMG 6\' Rake Attachment

Out of curiosity, is it the style you grab and pin, or the one where it pins into the receiver at the bottom of the grapple?

Re: BMG 6\' Rake Attachment

Climbhigh,
Dave from Branch Manager Attachments told me when I bought it that there were more than 4000 tines used to make this broom. The tines are flat, around 12" long, and flexible.

With that said, I have used it on nice lawns with great success.

It works fast, and the only downside we found was finding room to haul it home from jobs if you have a loaded trailer.

Re: BMG 6\' Rake Attachment

The grab style is superior to the plug in style... the grab style is the "new" style.

The rake works great for getting the broad strokes done on the raking, follow up with the blower and you're good to go. You do have to use some common sense running it of course.

We use it on the AL140. Finding room to haul a 1'x6'x2' ish rake isn't very difficult for us. Gotta put the loader somewhere eh? I do prefer running it on the 140 than on a mini. Larger minis have more weight up front to get better contact with the ground.

The rakes are also eligible for the forum discount, fwiw. Just lemme know.
