I've gone through some of my bookmarks there have been random pages that I haven't been able to access. When I click on the bookmark I notice some action in the bar at the bottom of the page. The URL is flashing then I get this mesage:

Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the existing page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked."

I use Netscape...
So, I went to my Preferences and into Manage Stored Cookies. The Stored Cookies are all OK. Then I went into Cookie Sites and deleted all of the "can/cannot store cookies" leaving the whole works blank. I still can't get into the pages that are blocked.

Now, to make things more difficult...I can't remember which site blocked me. I wish that my memory was as long as my ropes /forum/images/graemlins/santa.gif

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

99 times out of 100 it's a server running Microsoft IIS and it's misconfigured. It answers the request with a redirection to the same place again, which results in a redirection to the same place again, until you get the error. Sometimes you can get in if you disable javascript first because the sort of typically clueless folks who run that software "professionally" often equally cluelessly use funky javascript which doesn't know about anything other than IE.

If you run across the site again, shoot me the link in an email and I'll help troubleshoot it for you.
