Big Tulip Poplar removal, Gopro drone footage,

Can't wait to see the final cut of this. The drone shots add so much.

I would do more vids but I spend so much time setting up, changing SD cards, and watching batteries that it takes my focus away from the job. And I only have one GoPro. Oh yeah, then you have to charge everything up the night before. It's a lot to remember :)

Final product should be awesome. They had a drone at the ITCC also. can't wait to see that footage too.

really cool Mike!

I'm not familiar with vimeo, so I watched it NOT on HD first and wondered why so bad resolution.
Then I clicked on the HD at the bottom and it got really clear.
So, do like Mike said and turn ON the HD.

I'm telling you all now. .... IF you keep calling them drones, you are going to help get RC aircraft banned.
It's a negative word the media uses and you are just spreading the negativity by calling them drones.

Drones are un-manned aircraft used by the military with Spy cameras or weapons.

These RC copters are going to get banned or people are going to need a special license to run them if the negativity continues.

They are cool toys and also awesome video tools to use. Please don't call them drones.

Did the film company call them drones Mike?

Interesting Mark. Maybe that company wants to see them have to be licensed so it pushes away the small guys. Just a guess. But that's the first time I've heard of an owner of rc copters call them drones.

I sure appreciate the language u all are speaking on here now. :-)

and I don't even own one yet. But I grew up building rc stuff. SO it would make sense for me to get some.

You know, I've rescued a couple of these quadcopters from the treetops. We should make a deal with these guys. Free tree-work footage, free RC rescues.

Apparently they can have a glitch in the remote control that causes them to lose communication which many times means a crash.
