I'm reading a really great book on marketing I thought I'd share. I especially like the the last chapter on relationships. I highly recommend it.

Anyone else have one or two that you feel would benefit others. We don't have to limit them to just marketing books.

Same author - "Selling the Invisible"
John Jantsch - "Duct Tape Marketing"
Dan Kennedy - "The Ultimate Marketing Plan"

One of my all time favorite books is "The Legend of the Monk and the Merchant" by Terry Felber. It's one of the books Dave Ramsey requires his team members read. It's a great book about career and principles of success.

Transitions: Making Sense of Life's Changes by Bill Bridges

A great understanding of the process of change regardless of the specific change we're undergoing.

Any of Harvey Mackay's books, Swim with the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive, Beware the Naked Man Who Offers You the Shirt...

The entrepreneurial myth by gerber. If you ever felt your business was running you instead of the other way round, get it now! If not, get it now! It will come to that eventually for most anyone who is running a business in order to follow their passion, rather then jus tbecause they want to run a business.

Stephen Covey - The Four Imperatives of Great Leaders
John Maxwell - The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
Connors & Smith - Change the Culture, Change the Game
Margaret Atwood - Payback: Debt and the Shadow Side of Wealth
Wade Davis - The Wayfinders
Harv Eker - Secrets of the The Millionaire Mind

Got to mention the classics.

Dale Carnegie-"How to Win Friends and Influence People"
Sun-tzu-"The Art of War" for success
Niccolo Machiavelli-"The Prince"
Robert Greene-"The Art of Seduction"

Principles in these can apply to all of us wether trying to manage employees or get the potential customer to choose you.

I just finished reading The E Myth and I recommend it to anyone who works for themselves or is considering it.
Now I know the difference between a business and a job.
