Here's what the labeling says: We've taken barrel aging to a whole new level by aging shaved coconut, almonds, roasted cacao nibs, and Blue Cooper's Columbian coffee beans in whiskey barrels, while our imperial stout ages in both rum and whiskey barrels.

Good grief.
 
Cool! I thought Southern Tier was just popular locally around here. You familiar with Ellicottville Brewing Company too? Nice blueberry wheat.

Also Flying Bison and Resurgence ( I like the blood orange) are local.
Lot's of good beer to be found in western NY, and some amazing wines in Niagara. We kinda need it to tolerate the pro football and hockey.
 
Haven't heard of the others you mention, Southern Tier has been here for a while though.
