Beer Beer Beer.

Craft Brew Oktoberfest happening the weekend. So far 25 brewers attending, about 10 of which I've never tried before. Good times will be had.

This craft beer thing has done good for America, but it's gotten silly. We're running out of ways to name beers. "Hop" can only be combined in so many ways with other finite letter strings. Gone are the days when the home brewers were creating something better than could be bought. Now they're just wasting time. Home brewing is like forging your own paper clips, or building your own pencil. When a dude makes too much of fine beers, wines, coffees, or teas, I find it distasteful. Great beer is a great drink. That's all. Don't be a pervert about it.

24 brewers serving up 73 brews. Damn good stuff. Best in show for me was made by a student brewing in his parents basement and only serving at the university pub....Acadia Broue Kiebitz Coti.

Another micro here in Ohio City (Near west side of Cleve.) 6 breweries in walking distance of each other. Great spot for a brew and food tour.

I have about 23 gallons of cider brewing for this winters storm season.. it's just about finished, but I'm debating on feeding it sugars to keep it going for a while longer... beer? I prefer stouts, obisidian by deschutes is one of my staples, and love me some Russian oatmeal stout
