Becoming an arborist

Anyway, getting this back on track.

So far I've received some very helpful and encouraging PM's from some members here, and made some good local contacts too. I'm very impressed with the community here at TB!

ill share some honesty with you here. DONT BOAST ABOUT BEING A BADAZZ. i made this exact mistake years ago and leanred a hard lesson from it. wait no, i had my azz handed to me on a silver platter. as you can see how i get bashed by a few people on here who havent let it go after years. it takes time to recover from something like this and i dont recommend it.

As I said before, I will go into this career exactly what I am - a newb who knows nothing and in need of training and supervision. I'm far from a "bad***" as you put it. I have great respect for things that can kill me, like electricity, for instance, and large, heavy pieces of wood hanging over my head too.

I get tired of reading threads that deteriorate into off tangent feeding frenzies.

If you can't remember what you wrote then it likely didn't apply to what the OP asked.

There was nothing wrong with what you wrote, it just wasn't what Tom wanted to read at the moment.

I'm glad to see that total thread derailments don't just happen on electrician's forums.

Daniel, I have a suggestion for your video productions. I think you should forgo all shirts from now on and have the Stihl logo tatooed across your chest instead.

After the Charlotte TCC I spent four days working with a buddy in Charlotte. I asked him what a mutual friend was up to. He wasn't at the TCC. My buddy said that he had started working as an electrician.

This is another example of what Alex Shigo called 'Dynamic Equilibrium'. 'The balance of nature' is a myth...nature is always in movement, not static.

Stephan knows what makes me tick:

God's favorite gear is the Unicender.
