BBC Story on Treework in Sheffield City, UK

The story didn't tell why the trees are being removed.

Look at the assessments and scope of the work.

We all know that over reaching condemnations are possible. There can likely be accomodations made for trees that won't effect the streets project.

For all we know there are streets that are going to be widened. Certainly in a city that large there are some high hazard trees that would scare any arborist. And then...in between..lots of trees that could likely be left

That was a pretty cool mini-documentary. Good balanced coverage. Did not paint either side as inherently evil or good.

I find this type of reporting refreshing. I am much more likely to sympathize with the side of the argument that I might not usually agree with when the reporting is even handed.
