Makes me want to vomit. If you can believe it, we got a 1390XP (which I think is now the 15XP ) with the tier 3 Perkins in early 2015 for $47K. Won't be long before we're at $200K for a new general purpose chip truck/chipper combo.
Gotta say we don't use the winch as much as I thought we would. But we are in Ohio, so mostly deciduous trees which don't lend themselves to easy winching and chipping. It has saved our bacon on a few jobs though, like when we had several large ash removals on a very steep slope. Realistically no other way to move large wood up a hill.
