Since I don't do crane work anymore I haven't followed this thread.

I am as amazed today as I was close to 15 years ago when I first started posting on the original ISA ARbo Forum how easy it is for a great thread to get run into the mud by adolescents. Then, when their comments get edited or they get their knuckles cracked they whine the loudest about the other guy. Grow up.

I'm heading out the door so I don't have time to edit...later on I will. About half of this thread is getting deleted so it can get back on track.

That is beyond amusing coming from a moron who trolled an entire forum, TW, in the character of George Hayduke.

What a hypocrite. Get out your deletion pen (poor choice of words).

Edited bcs we are friends now.

it was a good article , around my way in Pa. we do have tree crane ops. Sit down or stand up , I read on here that stand up operators are suckers , not if they stack logs on the back . I've been doing crane work since 1985 , No movement on a crane is ideal , but not practical. I once worked with a 200t crane picking at 178 from center pin , if his boom moved he shut his crane off an got nasty. Any one on here who never rocked a boom is FOS . Love Crane
