Avacado tree type

Newbie to avacado trees and didn't even know we needed two of different types to pollinate each other for good fruit. The problem is. ..the tag on the currently planted tree is long gone and we don't know which type we already have...any ideas?

No way. Honestly I'd just go buy a new one that is self fruitful and hope that the two together give you two fruiting trees instead of just the one.

Without knowing the variety, we're shooting in the dark here.

How long have you had this tree? It looks like it may have been planted too deep.

What's with that crooked stick at the top?
