How does this look?

I know budget is a big deal but, just get a new saddle brotha. If I had the dough I would buy one for ya but I know things are tight this time of year.

That does look better though.

On my liger I tied scaffold knot on one side and anchor bend on other. A little extra security and one less thing to check constantly plus you can still adjust length of bridge if desired.

Budget is not the prob its knowing which one. I am stuck between TM and MCRS. Suggestions!! My prob is I can't demo either which is what I feel I need to do? I am a big dude so I have a lot to support. I will be down your way tomorrow through Friday maybe we should catch up and you can help me figure this one out. Seriously price is not a huge concern

That looks better. e.g. tail length, material selection, ....
Personally, in this application where the anchor hitch is going to see a lot of "rough treatment", I would back it up.
I have actually seen were a stopper knot (double overhand) was recommended w/ an anchor hitch. (pictures were shown). That would be extremely bulky.

I would use the method noted above. (pass the tail back thru the double loop a second time, dress carefully, tighten)

Well, since you asked...the MCRS comes in a larger size than the TM, larger back pad and leg pads. Even the smaller size that I use seems to give better support than the TM. The soft wear points that matter on the MCRS are all rope as opposed to the stitching in your current saddle. The waist belt, 36"to 46" on the large, has a heavy grommet and roller buckle closure that stays where you put it. The bridge rope (which would be the best choice even on your current setup) has the ends stiffened into bars giving the use of the anchor bend as a bridge attachment more security.

Both the MCRS and the TM take time and trial and error to get adjusted right but once done, the support and freedom of movement is amazing, far beyond what you are currently using. Having used both, I prefer the MCRS.

Most companies have some wiggle room on saddle returns or exchange as long as they are in like-new condition. Talk to Treestuff about your dilemma and see what can be worked out.

Well friend I trust your opinion more than some. I may just have to go ahead and order me a MCRS. It does have a bit of Don Blair looking saddle which I was a big fan of too.
