Ascenders

I was just thinking of buying a pair of these soon and wondered what the best are. I'm not a big fan of Petzls. The CMI's look nice and then theres the Black Diamond ones, which feel nice (felt them at a local Outdoor/Rock Climbing/Hiking place.) Eventully I would like to build a SRT system, so if I bought the Black Diamond ones, could I use them to set up a Tree Frog system. I plan to buy each piece seperately as time goes on and maybe make modiafactions for my personal use. Thanks alot

I prefer the CMI Expedition ascenders to the Petzl Ascension...but the Petzls do work just fine. When you get into non-handled ascenders most of my experience is with Petzl products.

Thanks, thats probaly what I'll get. Trying to decide between those and the BD ones.
