I am selling an 8' ART Rope Guide Primus with a double snapper. It's in excellent condition. Asking $220 including shipping to the lower 48 States.

I'm not familiar with "primus", who puts the whole thing together? Is it ALL ART, or parts of it ART?

It's all ART. It was out before the current 2010 model. Not many were sold in the US. I had it special ordered in.

I remember them ,they even had a model with a prussik instead of the rope grab device.

Thanks Jimmy. I was going to post a couple links when I made it home to the computer but you beat me to it.

It works well. I found it retrieves better than the old webbing model. The spliced eye doesn't get stuck like the AL ring. It can be a little stubborn and require a few whips when set on a spar.
