Not to defend him but, just lets keep the facts somewhat straight. His total net worth is $15 million, not the value of his home. He has the one in LA and the one in London, where the video is shot. That's more a converted industrial space than a former landed gentry estate.

I'm a trustee of a non-profit in the environmental sector where I spend much of my spare time fundraising with an emphasis on the corporate sector. While they can be extremely generous, I have no illusions as to their motivations.
Oft times corporate giving comes after the same entity wreaked havoc on society in many forms.
What do you think motivated the creation of the Nobel Peace Prize? How about Carnegie Foundation? Andrew, while lofty in intentions did little while building his fortune to improve living conditions, education and wellbeing in his plants. Today we see many of the same things being done in the name of business.
When business acts first with all of society in mind and not the select few able to invest in them then we may begin to see the solution to much of the current social problems we are confronted with.
