At least NYC is taking their trees more seriously than the smaller towns that represent so much of NJ and other states. It's there that tree care is a throw away concept. a lack of resources to afford expertise and the problem of political influence that leads to wilful ignorance towards ecological values.

YES!! This is what TCIA and ISA and all the other associations can get together to run some tv ads or get on the reno and green living shows. Where are they??
