arborexotica.com

Tim,

I said this before, and will say it again now, would you please post something, anything at all that doesn't sound like an infmercial for your site/product? This way it won't seem as though you're here for selfish reasons.

Mark,
I read the discription for "Tree Bay" and it seems that 'arborexotica' is well within the posted guidlines for this section of TreeBuzz.

HOWEVER I tottally agree with you in asking this guy to get a grip (my words) and post something other than an annoying 'teaser' or 'come on'. If I want that I'll go read the comics or watch day time soaps on TV.

I'm thinking this guy either 1. Thinks we are all stupid and did'nt get his message already or, 2. Really does'nt have an idea of how to sell himself or his mythical products.
Either way I have never seen anyone else post these types of empty advertisments on this site before. I for one would not miss seeing them. The pity is at this point I just might be prejudiced toward his site. Sorta the same way I dislike having 'telemarketers' calling me.

O.K. O.K. O.K.----
In the spirit of trying to spread the word about new or existing gear that might possibly be a help to the tree-care proffession.----How about those pickaroons available from Steele tree. Personally I find them to be a tremendous labor-saving tool. Any opinions mark?

Are those the lightweight alum/steel cant hooks & peevees made in all different colors with rubber coated handles?

The manufacturer had some bright pink ones at TCIA Detroit.

If so they seem like a great product, wont crack and warp like my wooden handled ones over time being exposed to sunlight. On the other hand mine have lasted for maybe 10-12 years...

Mark,
Heck no-- I don't know who does but I know a winner when I see one. These things save all kinds of back strain-- must be carefull however as it's easy to put a hole in your leg with one. Of coarse, one can cut oneself badly with a chain-saw too. Guess no tool is perfect.
