Arbor Wear Tech 11 pants

Do you who have them feel the sizes are accurate? Is a 32" waist truly a 32" or do they run tight or loose?

Pay attention to the high heat warning on the techs. We burn everything at the end of the day and I pinholed a new pair when a load of pine start popping sparks out of the burner.

worth every penny. I have 1 pair and wear them every day. Will outlast a 20$ pair of jeans 4x easy. One of the perks is that you can wash them anywhere. I have washed them on a jobsite with a hose, wrung them out and put them right back on. drys in minutes and keeps you cool in the mean time. For those climbing in carharts or jeans, being introduced to the gusseted crotch was as big a time and energy saver for me as a friction saver. My other pair of pants is a pair of Prana rock climbing pants

The guy in the AW warehouse told me they dip them in a wicking agent. I asked him if I could wet my pants in the canopy and expect to be dry by the time I was back on the ground. He said I could. The crew told me I'd have to ride in the trailer because wet or dry I'd still smell like a bad litter box.

You are what you (sw)eat.

I bought a pair of Tech pants last August at ITCC. I figure I have worn those pants 70% of the work time here in Dallas (AW mediums in the winter weeks and the rare day in shorts otherwise). They are usually soaked with sweat by 8AM and dry at break and lunch. Sort of strange to sweat up clothing several times a day.

That means they've been washed over 150 times, too. Yes, there's half a dozen picks where the handsaw tagged them where I'd thought there might be a lot bigger gash. They have held up well do not look like any other piece of clothing run that hard.

Wearing sweat wicking light wool socks also maintain a balance of coolness. Our work uniform tshirts are 40/60 cotton/poly and are really what tips the balance. I get a little static for wearing 80/20 tshirts that billboard something arbo because they are cooler.

Now, how about some Tech Tees?

BUMP....

Tech Pants are still going strong...mine have half a dozen silky picks in them, a gash in the leg from pulling the 200t past my leg in a tight spot...saw was OFF!!!
The picks and gash don't spread...these pants are going on three...They wash and dry for the next day...so I can't really say I need another pair...but I will!

Now if they could put some front chainsaw protection in them...now THAT would be da bomb!!
