Arbor Trolley - 5 years on

We used to keep ours under the truck, worked great

Found a new use for the Arbor Trolley today. Fairly tall dead ash (60’?) snapped at base and hung on a nearby maple. Tried a few undercuts to get it down but no luck. Too heavy to pull out with just a rope. Decided to put the trolley under it and make another small undercut so the tree would land on the trolley. Just had to make sure not to stand where the handle could raise up and crack my jaw if the tree stood it up. Worked great. Helped that the trolley was headed downhill. Then just pulled the trolley until the ash was dislodged. Unique situation. Obviously won’t work for huge or snagged trees, but was great here. For some reason my other pics are too big to upload.
