Arb Pro 2 boots? Yay or nay?

I am burning through my second pair of Salewa Firetail EVOs in a year and wondering if I can get more life out of the Pro 2s? I love the fit of the Salewas, but they just don't hold up that well for full time climbing duties. I am guilty of wearing them all the time because they are so comfortable so I am sure that doesn't help.

Mine only last 1 season and I don't wear them for removals. I am on my second pair. I like them in the snow my feet stay dry. I wear a gator in rain or snow to keep things out. It would be a big improvement if they were made with a built in gator. To be fair in 25 years of tree work I haven't found a boot that last much past 1 year. The exception would be Westco high liner which I prefer for removals because they protect my lower leg and my spurs fit better with the larger heel and they don't fill up with saw dust.

I have been using the Salewa Firetail boots for at least a year, and I have tried on the ArbPro 2 boots, but returned them. The ArbPro boots are very well made and a better quality boot than the Firetail, and I suspect that they will last much longer. But I don't have the experience with them to know that for sure. I returned them because they felt too rigid to me, and I don't like the higher tops around my ankles. For some people, that may be an advantage. Perhaps once they are "broken in" they will be more comfortable for walking, but I don't want to have to break in a pair of boots. In the tree, however, the rigidity of the ArbPro boots is an advantage when standing in a crotch. The Firetails flex too much and let the branches squeeze my feet. But whatever we all have to say about either boot, we're all different, and you won't know if you like them or not until you try them.

Difficult to compare footwear among ourselves. Are feet are shaped differently to an extent.
Ex. I have wide flat bottomed feet.
