The 3120's I had and have seen had auto oiler with a manual oiler too, to help out on longer bars. If this is what you are asking about.

i think id take the MS880 over that 3120xp for one reason, service. on an engine that big you would need a good dealership.

whaaaaaaaat!? with a 3120 there is no reason for service and imho the 3120 smokes that 880 in large cuts with long (42"+ bars) especially on it's side doing stump cuts and the supplemental manual oiler is awesome. that 880 needs to be a 090 then you can talk competition

yeah but smash a 3120 and your gonna wait longer to get parts from sweeden rather then made in the USA 880.

880 is not made in USA, made in Germany. Only MS361 and smaller are USA made.

I owned 4 084, 2 3120 and 2 166. I like the 084's the best JMO. Now on the MS880, they put on some weight compared to the 084. All of them had manual oilers including 084.

Germany or Sweden both pretty dang far.

I had no trouble getting parts for either brands from my dealers. Plus huskys you can order NEW parts online, try that with stihl.


BUILD WISE- If I was buying NEW MS880 = (they should have kept the manual oiler) over a 3120xp all day.
Plus I cant stand the way low rev-limited coils on the newer 3120's.
