Neva hoid of it. Not surprised it's Prunus, though!

I think TreeLogic is right. The google images of Photinia look the most like it. And it is evergreen making me think not Prunus. I'll try to post some more photos as it flowers.

Cherry laurel (prunus) is evergreen.

Evergreen it is, but I don't think Cherry Laurel ever gets red tips like that...

I still have to look twice when identifying Red Tips or Cherry Laurel. Even in person they're easy to get confused with each other.

Defiantly Red Tip (Photinia Serratifolia) The blossoms are different than a Cherry. I have one in my yard.

The wood is pretty dense stuff when dry.
