I did not know him well. Just a bit of posting over there from time to time. What little I did know of him was he seemed to be of good peeps.

One in a million kind of guy. Someone I definitely looked up to. He was knowledgeable and experienced to a high degree. A good liver!

He was never anything but an asshole to me, repeatedly saying that I was too overweight to be a climber. I weighed 230lb at the time and was an adept climber with a YouTube channel dedicated to educating tree climbers and knot enthusiasts. He NEVER appreciated me or my achievements.

Having said that, I'm not petty. So rest in peace, brother. We may not have seen eye to eye, but I always had respect for him and his career achievements. He was a damn good arborists. Simple as that.
