another backleaner

I am 3rd gen tree guy (or more). I was speaking to someone with whom said "sounds like you have saw dust in your blood." You know what? I do, also a rookie, and I don't come close to knowing as much as you, Blinky, SouthSound, or 90% of them members here for that matter. I do have a responsibility to speak up when I see something unsafe, or dangerous. I've been very reluctant to make a career out of tree work/logging since I don't really want to kill trees, and then I found arborculture....

Lets see here.

I was about 6 when the city came to "prune" out walnut tree from the stop sign, and my mother said "you guys have to come out here every year just cut it down if you want." Well I climbed the tree as high as I could go, and refused to come down for school until the wrecking was called off. I want to learn to do removals safely and efficiently and never do em agin.
One of the former generations told me "if you get good at doing removals, well that's what your going to do. Wouldn't you rather be good at pruning?"

Daniel, THE 1st thing on the job I was taught was if something doesn't look safe kill the chipper, and stop the job. Your videos don't look safe, sure you get it done, but most of us here have tried to stop you to take a closer look at what your doing. Too bad for you. You are being told my a collective knowledge base of innumerable years of experience that you need to count your blessings and change your ways.

You have decided to alienate your self, and not listen to "us." That's fine, but where I have issue is the personal attacks. I truly hope you the best of luck because if you continue your really going to need it.

"no body is cutting tree's like me" well that sounds like something out of a Dr. Suese book.

Daniel, take that finger and go sit on it. You may be surprised and find more pleasure in that telling all of us to shove it.

I'm fairly certain my role here is to lampoon the gutter cleaning.

I can't help but point out to all y'all haters that whatever your perceptions of whatever Daniel is doing is wrong, unless of course you think he is right. Then your perceptions are correct. Your shakra is aligned.

I also want to point out that Feng Shui is for fat chicks who like mirrors that make them look slim.

I also want to highlight the fact that the moderators of this site failed to remove the picture of the gay stripper, which ruined one of Daniel's threads. Which ruined this whole site.

Damn you HOLLY!

No time to post. I'm in the R & D phase of my ground breaking "Dangling Kielbalsa Face Cut', which will revolutionize how arborists handle wood in the future.

Blinky, I can tell by your picture that you are no tree man. Hell, you don't even look three-dimensional.

You too, EZ. You should be out of diapers before trying tree work or gutters.

Who says you have to be three dimensional to do tree work?

Rigging is a LOT easier without that pesky depth thing causing problems. You always hit the LZ cuz there's no where else the wood can go.

Furthermore, gravity behaves differently in two dimensions. No more drift lines or speed lines, everything just falls off the bottom of the page, Rakeless cleanup is a snap!

Also, if you have a purple crayon... and your name is Harold, you can pretty much draw rope. That's right, you never have to pay a buck a foot for line again since you can just draw it anywhere you want it with a little crayon. You can even draw skid steers and salami trees... the possibilities are endless.
