Trying to get into tree business and MD state Licensed Tree Expert (LTE) takes a while to get. I'd like to try for ISA Tree Worker cert and it requires recent proof of aerial rescue training. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get this? I'm owner operator so need something independent rather than thru an employer. Thanks in advance!

With the climber specialist cert from the ISA you can meet the practical skills requirements by competing at an ISA chapter event. You just need the form to be filled out by a rep from the event. So I believe you can practice in house and complete the AR event and you can do the paperwork and take the written test.
This is how the system was run 4 or 5 years ago, I know the ISA has changed some stuff I don't know if this was one of them, but worth looking into.

PM me. Doing some in house A. R. Training early next month. Can't make any promises, and you'll probably only be able to observe. As a lead instructor for NATS, Arbor Canada and a TCIA instructor I should be able to validate soemthing that will meet the requirements.
