So this happened this morning on my way to work (please see photos) I was driving on the highway thanks to an early emergency call in and as i came up on two transport trucks a baseball sized rock, stone, concrete, who knows came up from the road and struck my windshield. If that wasn't bad enough becuase i was in a hurry i tossed my gear back in the front seat and it wasnt quite fully zipped up. Now the impact from the object hitting the glass had so much force it show glass shards, chunks and this glass powder that anyone whos fimiliar with tempered glass or broken windshields know it goes everything (it ended up in my coffee for gawds sake). Heres my problem and where im asking for advice. the glass was all over my equipment but it was mostly the small shards and powder like stuff. I took everything out and shook the living shit out of all of my equipment do you think thats enough or is there something else i should be doing. Or what a coworker mentioned was that the glass might now enter my ropes, slings, harness etc and cut them from the inside (to which i thought i doubt it but now i am a bit of a nervous nellie) any advice would be greatly appreciated, or insight, or direction, suggestions. thank you (the pictures are hard to tell but it shows the small glass particles)
