Advice needed ...

So this happened this morning on my way to work (please see photos) I was driving on the highway thanks to an early emergency call in and as i came up on two transport trucks a baseball sized rock, stone, concrete, who knows came up from the road and struck my windshield. If that wasn't bad enough becuase i was in a hurry i tossed my gear back in the front seat and it wasnt quite fully zipped up. Now the impact from the object hitting the glass had so much force it show glass shards, chunks and this glass powder that anyone whos fimiliar with tempered glass or broken windshields know it goes everything (it ended up in my coffee for gawds sake). Heres my problem and where im asking for advice. the glass was all over my equipment but it was mostly the small shards and powder like stuff. I took everything out and shook the living shit out of all of my equipment do you think thats enough or is there something else i should be doing. Or what a coworker mentioned was that the glass might now enter my ropes, slings, harness etc and cut them from the inside (to which i thought i doubt it but now i am a bit of a nervous nellie) any advice would be greatly appreciated, or insight, or direction, suggestions. thank you (the pictures are hard to tell but it shows the small glass particles)

If laundromats are nearby, maybe try the no heat cycle on a dryer to filter stuff out?

Then wash there repeatedly?

Shake it out...use it for the next 3 months...replace it like you were going to anyway.

Btw way...i was just in colombo this past weekend and couldn't help but think about you...my wifes high school culinary team won states. Was thinking about that whiskey bar you were talking about a few months back...all i had was the budwieser factory in the back drop...

I nominate jd3000 to be a moderator...he obviously has nothing else going on...and would ensure that numerous answers would be fulfilled and beer, beer, beer always has a fresh post.

Whisky bar...

Get to try the food at the competition? That would be cool.
Negative ghost rider...only make 3, 3 course entrees... 1 goes for display. Really like marcellos and bd's mongolian though! I was down there 2 years ago and man those guy'ses food is always good.

That looks like a leaf blower job to me, lay everything out on the ground and blow the crap out of it, flip it over and do it again until yer satisified!

edit: just saw the air compressor idea, yep all good

no id on the truck it was a snowstorm in this area and by the time i got up to the truck i couldnt read anything on the door in terms on name or registration which sucks and i cant be sure it wasnt just something kicked up off the ground it was very fast happening.

I guess the big worry with the glass isnt so much me cutting myself but any of my equipment becoming compromised from it

I shook the shit out of it and have gone the route of the air compression to blow it all off over twice so i think it should be ok from here. thank you all for the replies and advice.
